Yes...the track will maintain the default fast setup for the CTS physic...
Most likely will not have an SBP Custom setup applied for that physic though for the simple fact that the truck series don't actually run there and that any info on what kind of times and/or speeds they would achieve are void... |

I believe the pic you may be referring to is actually turn 2 (AKA the the tunnel turn)....  ....the asphalt patch really doesn't extend thru turn 3 (the final turn before entering the front stretch)...

Track looks awesome so far Jrock!! And about CTS, the trucks are actually going to Pocono next year

It is confirmed J. July 31st the Trucks will be there. They, Nascar, posted a quick 2010 schedule in on of the main headlines last week. It's not on the actual schedule page yet.
With this version, are you using the Pocono_05 base from SS.net? That final turn.. the wall really needs looked at. Looks great thus far though. |

| Actually the new track patch starts exiting turn 2 down the short chute and all the way thru turn 3. There isn't a one lane patch, just the one to fix the bumps from a few years back |

From preliminary observations I have made, the patch/strip starts entering turn 2 (the tunnel turn) and stops just before entering turn 3....it doesn't go through to the exit of turn 3...
from 2008
from 2009
However, taking a second look at the first pic...it does seem to appear that there is a raised area or edge(which I first mistook as just built up tire rubber...the dark groove if you will...) and could possibly be evidence of a layer of new asphalt...i.e. the patch/strip.... 
It's obvious that if that is the case, then the patch/strip isn't as wide on the exit of turn 3 as it is throughout the rest of the patch/strip... |
